You must have a max and a starting budget, buying jewelry is just like buying a home or car. Make sure your budget matches your expectations you can’t drive a Rolls Royce with a Camaro budget.

Gold

Furthermore, you have to know what quality gold you prefer because each karat variation gives a different finish. We at 187Designs, LLC recommend using 14K gold for the lowest karat. It is only 58.5% gold while 18K is 75% gold and our favorite, 22K, is 91.6% gold. The higher quality gold you choose, the brighter the above all color will be. The higher the karat the price increases significantly as a result of the gold purity being more pure. Theres a choice of rose, white or yellow gold color to choose from some custom product have all three colors.

Diamonds

Diamond selection is probably one of the most important part of the custom jewelry process. Not all custom work requires diamonds but when it does, always consider the 4 C’s in making your purchase. Carat, color, cut, and clarity these four combinations determine diamond price and grade. From I1 to FL the lower the price of diamond the lower the quality and resell value will be. Diamonds can range in the price from a hundred for a few melees or into the the multi million dollars.
